  • MOD Commercial – Significant practical and strategic experience of Ministry of Defence Commercial policy, process, systems and ways of working, both in terms of the application within delivery space, and intent with regards to the 2023 Defence Command Paper Refresh and associated Defence Commercial Strategy.

  • Tender Development & Submission – Detailed understanding of navigating and supporting the Public Sector Tendering process, including the utilisation of relevant toolsets, the Contracting Authority procurement notices and the procedural mandatory/discretionary requirements applied to Tendering activity.

  • Bid Development– Practical, demonstrable experience in customer engagement, strategic bid development and bid submission including large, complex requirements.

  • Defence Urgent Capability Requirements – Strategic and operational level experience of managing, staffing, and delivering Defence procurement’s Urgent Capability Requirements process, accelerating Commercial and Technical processes to meet immediate operational needs for UK Armed Forces, both on shore and overseas.

  • Public Sector Procurement – Significant experience in delivery and management of the Public Sector Procurement processes, both competitive and single source, and influence/development of the associated Legislation and Policy within Defence Sector specifically.

  • Procurement Act 2023 – Subject Matter Expertise in recently introduced Public Sector Procurement Act (2023), particularly in terms of the legislative requirements, and the implementation requirements of the Act within Defence Sector when imbedded into Public Sector c. Oct 24.

  • Commercial Innovation – Practical experience of the development and implementation of novel and innovative Commercial approaches within Defence, including the design, maturation and deployment of Agile Spiral Development and Research & Development programmes.

  • Secure by Design – Expertise in MoD Secure by Design process, NCSC engagement and Security Architecture development.

  • Solution Development – Experience and expertise in mission systems and large complex solution development within High Threat environments.
