Senior End User Services Engineer
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Compensation: £55,000 – £75,000, dependant on experience
Role Type: Full Time
Clearance Required: Minimum SC and willing to achieve and maintain DV
Role Overview
Nightball is seeking a Senior End User Services (EUS) Engineer to provide a key role in our customer facing integration team and provide services to the internal operational delivery team.
We are looking for a candidate that is adaptable, keen to work across a variety of business areas and has experience in both the establishment and running of End User Services environments including but not limited to Desktop Delivery, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Application Delivery and Mobility. This is an opportunity to join a young, cutting-edge organisation that has some of the most experienced technical personnel in the market.
Please note: This role is not limited to End User Services, we encourage those with ambition to laterally move and support other teams in the organisation so there will be scope to extend into other areas of Integration and Delivery.
Essential experience
- Ability to build, run and support EUS platforms such as Citrix Cloud, Microsoft Intune and .
- Understanding of highly secure solutions, their implementation, along with UK Government processes which underpin them, including but not limited to Secure by Design.
- Extensive and demonstrable experience in Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) and Agile Delivery Release processes.
- Experience of test and validation of solutions before they enter a Service environment.
Desirable experience
- High secure, multi-tenant cloud solutions based on VMware (Broadcom) Cloud Foundation.
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions based on both Citrix and VMware (Omnissa).
- Complex multi-domain solutions.
- Deployment and integration of UK Mission Systems.
- Privilege Access Management solutions.
Security clearance
Due to the nature of the industry and Nightball Technologies client base, any potential offer of employment would be conditional on the successful candidate being a sole UK national who has achieved a valid Security Clearance (SC) and is willing to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
